Pre award process begins with the Principal Investigator (PI) and/or Co-Principal Investigator(s) (Co-PI) notifying the Office of Sponsored Research Services of their intent to submit a grant application in response to a request for application (RFA), broad agency announcement (BAA) or a call for proposal, using the Research Project Intent Notification Form (RPINF).

The OSRS then work with the PI(s) reviewing the award mechanism and developing and submitting the grant application.

 

The OSRS facilitates research protocol submission and approval, university approval and pre award survey completion.
